there are 16 WDC WD4000YR 400GB SATA drives. the other information measures drive performance (primarily sequential i/o and seek times).

How'd those Xeons get in there - I was thinking Wikimedia was heading to being an all-AMD shop :-)

400TB disks, that's ridiculous, but probably a spelling mistake ;-)

How much does it have now? 86x400G or (two RAIDs + a 86-disk set)? Enhance the description with 'and's so we don't need to guess like I did.

"2 arrays, 8 disks for each array" => 16 disks. Easy, no?
