test2.wikipedia.org (like test.wikipedia.org) is a test wiki part of the production cluster. It was originally created to ensure testability of all deployment states (through Het deploy). test.wikipedia.org is the first wiki to get the "next" wmf-branch, test2.wikipedia.org the last (together with the Wikipedias).
Details
Though test and test2 are both served from the production cluster, test2 (unlike test) also runs on the load balancer serving live scapped code.
