test2.wikipedia.org (like test.wikipedia.org) is a test wiki part of the production cluster. It was originally created to ensure testability of all deployment states (through Het deploy). Both test.wikipedia.org and test2.wikipedia.org get the the "next" wmf-branch in the first round. test.wikipedia.org serves directly off of NFS and a single Apache instance, so changes made on fenari are immediately reflected on test.wikipedia.org. test2.wikipedia.org is configured like any other wiki.

Details

Though test and test2 are both served from the production cluster, test2 (unlike test) also runs on the load balancer serving live scapped code.
