ms6 is a Sun Fire X4540 running Solaris 10. It had a copy of our image data from ms1 from April 2009. The data that was on it has been copied into a tarball on ms4 in /export/save/changed-since-apr2009.tar. It is currently being used for testing alternatives to zfs replication. After testing is done, it will be used to replicate our current data to it. (Hmm, will it, since ms7 and 8 have come in?) See the ms servers for more information.
Current status: being used by river for testing alternatives to zfs replication.
Really current status as of 2013: probably abandoned?
