Maurus is the lead lucene search server in pmtpa.

• 2005-02-27: it is down. Brion said it was stealing IPs from another squid but wasn't up reliably enough to be reconfigured, so Kate shut down its switch port.
• 2005-04-15: up and idle for the last month
• 2005-08-22: has been running lucene (both daemons) for I don't know how long
