Software dependencies for running the dumps
(Incomplete list)
The pile of python and C code used to manage these XML dumps require the following:
- python 2.6 (for the threading and such)
- php5 with bzip2 and zip enabled
- php5-mysql, XMLReader PHP extensions
- functional base MediaWiki installation, including maintenance scripts
- ActiveAbstract MW extension,
- mysqldump
- p7zip installed, 7za in path of user running the dumps
